Stopped by the beach on the bicycle trail.

There was a BBQ with nice brass music from Warrnambool city band and a lady walked around offering watermelons!

Warrnambool Trip - Day 1

This school holiday we took a trip to Warrnambool, which is 4 hours to the West of Melbourne.

The word Warrnambool originates from the local Indigenous Australians name for a nearby volcanic cone. It is interpreted to mean many things including land between two rivers, two swamps or ample water.

Dad bought a bicycle carrier from ebay so we could take our bikes. Spring flowers were everywhere.

Stopped at Anglesea for a rest (and dad fixed problems at the office!). Then played pedal boat and first time experience for Ariel in Canoeing.

It was a glorious day.

We stopped by at Twelve Apostles and then had Pizza for dinner at "Nico" in Port Campbell.
